Come and join me and a whole host of other local traders tomorrow, Sunday 04 November 2018, at Yokosuka’s one and only SUNDAY STREET!
I’ll be manning the Tarot stall – of course! – and if you’re early you might just snag a place on my timetable, however on the last two occasions I was fully-booked within the first 30 minutes. Start time for the event is 11.00 and closing time is 18:00.
This is our third event, a real grass-roots community bash, complete with all manner of food from locally-grown organic seasonal veggies to candy floss and pile-em-high U.S.-style burgers, second-hand stalls, accessories, workshops, a sake sommelier, and six whole hours of funky tunes played by an array of insanely-talented DJs. Sad and disappointed? You won’t be, unless you miss it. See you there!
Sometimes I feel like the Gallery of Magick reads my diary, but actually, that’s not true. What I really feel is that the Gallery of Magick reads my mind before I’ve even written anything in my diary. And then I realise that we live in a universe of synchronicity and so of COURSE the Gallery of Magick would publish a blog post on how to boost your magic ability. And of course I just have to do it.
You have to have the GoM’s 72 Angels of Magick book, but that’s worth buying in any event. Also, it takes a long time to set up – it took me about 5 hours, but then I’m slow, because with magic (unlike pretty much anything else I do) I like to check, check and check again, cos just in case I accidentally manifest a horny-backed toad instead of a Lambo. Not that I’d really want either but hey, it’s just an example. Then, it takes 11 days of regular practice to complete this ritual, which means 20 minutes to half an hour of undisturbed time every day, something that quite a lot of people might struggle with, I imagine. Luckily my family are totally on board with my stranger-than-the-average hobbies.
If you want to have a go yourself then by all means. Just click the link above and, as if by magic, be taken to the blog post and accompanying PDF. I’ve done a LOT of GoM rituals and by George they work: if you only ever buy one book on magic or manifesting, let it be Zannia Blaise’s 72 Sigils of Power.
A while ago a Reiki student was talking about how she went to Russia and saw telekinesis in action. The people who were doing it offered to teach it to her, but she refused because she thought it was just too damn freaky. So I was thinking about that the other day, like you do, and I thought: “hey, I’d really like to learn telekinesis.” But wait, what exactly is telekinesis? And do I need to go to Russia? I mean, I’d love to but I’m kinda busy just at the moment.
As far as I can tell, telekinesis is moving inanimate solid objects with the power of your mind alone. As a healer, I have influenced the action of living tissue to repair itself, as I channel Reiki. So it should be just a hop, skip and a jump to go on to inanimate objects, right?
Having looked around online, there are quite a few websites that teach you to do that, and below I list a few places I found that look good to me:
Yes, my friends, it’s Autumn again – no, really – and as such it’s time to learn stuff! If you are in Tokyo or surrounding area in the next few months and would really like to learn the meanings of all 78 Tarot cards, and (what’s more important) exactly how to use them to get a real ass-kicking Tarot reading, now is your chance.
This summer I’m super busy with Summer Camp, which is the absolute high point of my English teaching year, and going to La Belle France to hang out with my Aged Ps and other assorted relatives. My family is so big / Catholic that if you are French, I’m probably related to you.
As a result I’m be too busy ‘avin’ a larf with my students and family members to do much blog posting. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.
About 12 years ago I moved from the UK to Japan and let my house out to my friends for a very reasonable rent, in exchange for them taking care of the place and keeping the garden nice, etc. As everyone predicted, the deal has gone south, for a whole array of reasons, and so now I need some guidance.
Not only that, but of course the outside is inside and the inside is outside – see the 9 Axioms of Thoth for further info on that – and so of course dealing with this, or rather not reacting to this in the old, predictable Elise-like ways is really key here. It’s a test, of course it’s a test. *Sigh* If only I had some way to connect with my Higher Self and get the guidance I need. Oh, wait, I’m a Tarot card reader.
Question 1: My first urge is to call on our mutual friends and / or some heavy dudes we know and enlist their help to get the person in question to cough up. I really need the money, dammit! Does the Tarot think that’s a good idea?
Answer: Giving in to urges like that keeps you enslaved to the victim mentality that led you into this situation in the first place. See how it would be the end of your friendship? There is still much to be saved here. The outcome is hidden (I always keep spare cards in the deck to show that the answer is hidden). Unchain yourself from this reactive mindset.
Question 2: All right then, if calling on our friends / the bailiffs to get the person to give me the money that he damn well owes me is not the right move, should I just trust to God, and turn this situation over to HIM, that all of this will end up working itself out? There’s not much else I can do from this distance.
Answer: You’re going at this with a pneumatic drill. The money is here, the money is safe. You’re fine. It’s fine.
So when will I get said money? My air conditioner has just broken down and I had to pay a ton of money for a new cooker and blah-blah-blah…
As you know, because the Tarot is so perfect, we can even make predictions of when that happy event might take place, using the Chaldean Decans. Because the signifier in this spread is the 10 of Disks, we see that the Tarot predicts that it will all be over, red rover, in mid-September. That’s quite far away! but as long as it happens, so much the better.
Question 3: So in the mean time, because I’m the soul of impatience (which is why I always look at the spoilers for Game of Thrones, and also why I use the Tarot for prediction) what can I do to hasten this event?
Answer: Seeing this situation as just one more battle to be won, and allowing yourself to get into petty conflicts with people who are essentially on your side, is what led you to this disaster in the first place. Just accept what’s happening, get out of the way and let events roll on without your meddling.
So that’s pretty unequivocal. Not exactly the answer we were looking for, wouldn’t you agree? But hey. Tarot knows best.
Question 4: What, if any, is the silver lining around this large, black lightning-filled storm cloud?
Answer: The King of Wands has always been the Tarot’s card for my partner. So I should listen to his advice (“Don’t call your friends, silly. Peer pressure would be counter-productive.”) and leave shit to him. Ok, boss.
Are you shocked that the Tarot is happy to talk about such petty topics as money and buying new cookers? Think about it: one quarter of all the cards in the Tarot are Earth cards, which are related to money. The Tarot is an excellent tool for analysing your relationship with money and finance. Try it now, and let us know what the outcome is.
A week or so ago I posted a YouTube video on MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL about why people don’t pay attention to the guidance and prediction of the Tarot. Then I realised how negative that was so I took it down.
In THIS post, I talk at length about why it’s so important to keep your vibe clean and clear, so it felt a little hypocritical, or at least not really in the groove, to be complaining about my Tarot clients almost immediately after, especially since I love my Tarot clients practically more than my own children, but that’s another blog post you may or may not be reading about eventually.
People don’t listen to the voice of the Tarot because they are not ready. End. Of. Story. The point is that they seek to get guidance, either from the Tarot or from somewhere else. Realising you need guidance then going out there and getting it is the most important thing.
Also I think it’s ok to mess up then go back on yourself and retrace your steps, don’t you?

Jung said that in order to be a true healer one has to be wounded oneself. I read the article about that on Wikipedia (see it HERE) and they state that:
“73.9% of counselors and psychotherapists have experienced one or more wounding experiences leading to career choice.”
Is there an adult alive over the age of 40 who had never had a wounding experience? I only wish that more adults had the same caring urge as therapists and healers.
Also I strongly believe that you can’t be an effective healer if you haven’t really lived pain, in whatever form. How would you be able to understand what the other is feeling without having been down that hole yourself?
I have Chiron in my 10th house which I fancy means I’m seen as a healer, whereas other Astrologers have said that it’s the wound that defines me. Huh. Let’s see what the Tarot thinks:
Tarot de Jacques Viéville
And as usual from the Tarot: what elegance, what subtlety in this answer. The central card – 2 of Wands – is the card of yearning and urges without sense or foundation. The left-hand card is the 10 of Wands, someone who has fought and lost or at least fought and suffered. On the right is the 5 of Disks, someone who is outside society, who struggles with paranoia and feeling ostracised.
I yearn to be a full-time healer, and behind me is the experience of having healed myself from Crohn’s disease – find out about all of that HERE – which was probably the catalyst for my wanting to be a healer, and before me is still this feeling of never being able to be accepted or successful. So the Tarot says that it’s the wound that defines me. Not exactly the answer I wanted but certainly very enlightening.
But also we could see something more general, an urge to heal coming from and feeding back into difficulty and stress. So then, I’m both seen as a Healer and define myself as wounded because the two are the same for me.
What do you think? What brought on your urge to heal? Do you agree with my Tarot reading interpretation? Can young people with no real life experience heal? Start the conversation below.
Why should you psychically cleanse yourself every day?
Because I’m a light worker, I radiate light and I’m very visible and attractive to non-corporeal psychic entities, some of them good, some of them not so good. If you are reading this post, it’s because you also have an interest in this area. So you are also pinging on the psychic radar.
What’s wrong with a little visibility?
Psychic entities might want to stick with you because they are lost, because they want to feed off your good vibes, because they have a message for their loved ones that they want you to give them, or a limitless spectrum of other reasons. The effect of psychic parasites being attached to you is gradual soul loss, which is something you don’t want, because the long-term effect of psychic parasites can last over several life-times. Do not feel sorry for them. You are not helping them. You are not being compassionate by allowing them to continue to feed off your soul essence. The very best thing for them is to return them to the light – for which you need to see a Shaman or Healer, or learn to do the job yourself.
So you need to cleanse yourself every day. This should be part of your daily routine, the same as brushing your teeth or having a shower. I do it as I’m walking to the station on my way to work. My neighbours probably think: “oh there goes that woman who is always talking to herself.”
What’s the effect?
The effect is that now I am happy and positive if not all the time then most of the time, basically. That might sound like some Law of Attraction fake feeling bs that is bound to fail eventually. However, here I am months down the road and I’m writing this post to tell y’all that this is the bomb. I promise you, it is something that you want. I see negative thought patterns for what they are, and I know how to not let them get any traction in my life.
How long does psychic cleansing take?
It takes me about 10 to 20 minutes. I know that sounds like a significant time investment on a daily basis, but the effect is absolutely worth it and it feels extremely good. By the end I’m wondering if I really have to stop. It’s like getting into a shower in the winter. At first you’re thinking that you don’t really want to take your clothes off and get into a stream of probably still cold water, but once you are under there you don’t want to get out.
So how do you do it?
State your name clearly. Say: “I, (first name) (second name), reject and repel the darkness.” Be very clear about that. State your affiliation clearly. Say something like: “I channel the light only. Only the light works through me.” Use words like only and totally. Get creative with this every day. Mean it.
Invoke the help of spirit guides. You can’t do this without them. You can invoke non-specific spirit guides – see THIS video post I put on YouTube – or you can invoke one in particular. I love Kali and I am aligned with her, so I sometimes invoke her, but most usually not.
Direct the Spirit and Healing Guides how to cleanse you and different parts of yourself. You might work through the different layers of your energy body, which will help you stay clean and clear in time and space.
Imagine a point of light from infinitely far away, that is shooting straight towards you. It comes to a stop just above your head. It’s a spiral. It spirals down through you, cleansing and clearing and healing as it goes.
Use your breath. Breathe in the light, breathe out the dark. Your lungs are a bellows. It’s like smoking, but the effects are extremely positive.
Feel the negativity and stress / anxiety within you. Where is it? How does it feel?
Visualise your stress areas, your core becoming clear and clean, visualise the light reaching your extremities. Visualise the darkness leaving you.
Pray. You can chant, pray, invoke Archangels, but have one set of words that you use every time. The ritual and the alignment with a higher power is vital for this to work. You can use Names of G_D, Hail Mary, whatever feels incredibly sacred to you.
Visualise your chakras becoming clean, one at a time. I start at the top and work my way down, but this is your show, do what sings to you.
If you come to a blockage in a chakra, then gently send it love and light, and intend it to clear. Invoke a spirit guide that is a specialist in clearing it. Spend a little longer on the one that’s blocked, then move on.
Now you are going to run your toroidal field, as TZ calls it. As you breathe in, imagine the light being pulled up through your feet and reaching the top of your head. As you breathe out, imagine it spilling out over your head like a fountain. Keep going with this. Visualise the light covering you totally, back, front and sides.
Visualise the light as white, sparkling, crackling with Light energy. Feel strong in your core, know that you are strong on the inside and on the outside.
As ever, end with deep thanks and gratitude to the spirit guides who assisted you in your daily cleansing, and to your teachers in all times and space. Put your hand over your heart and speak words of gratitude.
There is no excuse for not doing this every single day. After only a few days, you will notice the difference. People won’t bug you so much, situations that once infuriated you will seem kind of minor. Problems will seem like obstacles that can be avoided. If I feel overcome by bad vibes, I say: “I, Elise Mori, strongly and fully reject the darkness, the shadow and negativity (and so on)”, and away it goes. Bye-zee-bye!
In this amalgam of clearing exercises, I used a mish-mash selection from these (and probably other) sources:
