Why shield? Because it feels good.
Since writing this post and since starting regular daily shielding using the Middle Pillar exercise – well, it’s more of a chant and visualisation, really – not only have I been really enjoying it, as there is a sense of total wellness and peace that is frankly beautiful, but my life has been going very smoothly. Whereas before I was constantly in crisis mode, it was always “The Wrong Time For This!” for the last two weeks everything has been very smooth and peaceful. I feel less ragged constantly. People don’t harass me with just “one more thing, Elise, could you just…?” and the silly crap of life doesn’t seem to cling, or even hit. In brief: Middle Pillar exercise is my practice. Can I get a tee-shirt printed? Or a hat?
